Description
A serving tray consisting of three round plates set vertically inside of a vertical brass ring. There is a small loop handle for carrying at the top of the ring. The plates are hinged so that the two outside plates fold down to rest on the table at each side of the brass ring, and the middle plate swings to a horizontal position held in place at the middle of the ring by a hinge at either side. Each plate is covered with a geometric pattern of green and red enamel with a red bird at the centre (peacock? or turkey? with tail outspread). The bottom of each plate is marked with “6”.

A fur stole made from an uncut pelt of a silver fox crossed with a black fox. The stole has long glossy dark brown fur tipped with silver along the back, and a large bushy tail with a white tip. The stole is fastened with black braid-covered round toggles with snaps near the paws on the two right legs, and toggles with snaps on plastic chains on one side near the tail and head. There is a long braid covered clip under the fox’s head in the chin area. The fox’s eyesockets have been fitted with glass eyes.

There are autographs of friends scratched all over the surface. The bottom of the tankard is marked “Manning, Bowman & Co. 135”.
