- Description
- Maroon leather case with green satin velvet lining holds combination altimeter barometer of pocket watch like design. Brass casing and suspension loop. Casing rim ridged for gripping and rotation of altitude dial, inner dial, under crystal, is fixed and indicates barometric pressure in inches of mercury. Instrument is an aneroid barometer and needle varies with changes in atmospheric pressure, whether by change of altitude or change of weather. On dial face are following marks "rain change fair...compensated. Harrison & Co. Montreal, Made in England". On back of instrument casing is screw adjustment to correct for local conditions. Barometric pressure range is 17 to 31, altitude 0 to 16,000 feet.

- An enamelled pin with large white shield at centre containing gold lion rampant, and red, white and blue ribbon bow behind. Pin gold coloured, but very lightweight metal. Colours applied in cloisonne manner with thin gold coloured lines outlining. White shield, surmounted by gold crown, contains lion in high relief, and reads, "Dieu et mon droit" God and my right. Back has long pin hinged horizontally just above the middle, and fastening into locking clasp. Pin is hollow, with flat backing plate soldered to relief shaped front. Round hole through backing plate at top, and two triangular holes at bottom corners. Stamped across oval on back "Official B.W.R.S. and B.B. by Accessocraft"
