- Three ordinary metal shoehorns, spatulate shaped and cupped across, with curved ends. Narrower end curls back or forward to afford a finger grip, and has a hole drilled through for hanging shoehorn. (a) plain, narrow end curls under in smooth curve with .6 cm hole. (b) "Jack's Shoe Store" narrow end curled as (a) with .8 cm hole. Stamped into front of shoehorn, " boots shoes dry goods shoe repair phone 22 Coronation. (c)"Thayer McNeill Co." narrow end curves down slightly, then up in to a small bowl like depression with .9 cm hole at centre. Stamped into shoehorn, "fine shoes, Boston", and near bend of handle, "pat. 12-16-13".
