The mouth of the pitcher, decorated with shaped silver trim, is elongated at one side to form a pouring lip. The handle of the pitcher has a flat section at the top, and then curves in to where it is joined to the pitcher just below the shoulder. “M F D & PLATED BY REED & BARTON 5400” is stamped on the base.
