- Description
- A watch strap of grainy brown leather that is completely lined with smoother leather. The band widens at the top of the wrist and has a leather flap, with a circle cut out of the middle that is sewn to the strap on one side, to form a frame for a watch face. The bottom strap of the band threads through a slit in the other side of the strap to secure the watch in place. A yellowed clear plastic round casing (3.5 cm. diam.), with holes cut from sides to accommodate the pins and stem of a wristwatch, fits snugly between the strap and flap to hold a watch in place. Leather tabs hold a metal buckle at the end of the strap. The number “8” is stamped under the flap of the watchband.
