- A carabiner with five pitons hanging from it:(a) a D-ring aluminum carabiner (10.5X5.0cm wide) with non-locking gate mechanism on the gate; on one side engraved “H” and then in raised block lettering “BREVETTE S G D G” ,“G”, on opposite side in raised lettering, “P.
