- The flat bone base is used to depict water in this piece.The base is medium brown in color and rectangular in shape. On the base is an ivory kayak sitting on an angle with the back tip at the back righthand corner. There is a spear tied down to the top of the kayak and in the kayak sits a male figure with a paddle in both hands ready for action. There is a ivory caribou swimming to the front and left of the kayak.
