- Description
- A view looking east along the Bow Valley towards Pilot Mountain. Pilot Mountain dominates the background. Its peak stands out with its white snow, and rocks of dark blue and grey. The sky is a medium grey built up with distinct brushstrokes. Below the peak, snow becomes pale violet-grey or light blue-grey; areas of rock and dense forest are dark blue, while some slopes of loose stone are indicated by brown-grey blended in with blue. The middleground contains a second mountainside sloping in from the right. It is coloured dark green, blue and grey. A forest lies on the left, tapering to a light green at the centre of the picture. The foreground has the rough notation of brown grass, with a light green field beyond. A tree is placed on the right-hand side, but its top portion blends in with the mountain behind it.
