- Description
- A comb of wooden tines which radiate like the spokes of a wheel, through a section of arc from an extended handle. They are made of bamboo. At the focus they are bound in wire. Either side of the wedge of tines is encased in a darker wooden carved face plate which extends up to face the handle as well and the face plates are held to the extensions of the struts by fine brass wire, a shaft of wire running through the tines between the face plates and curled at its ends. A lace of fine brass wire separates as it binds the tines below the face plates. The face plates are carved with small stroke designs.

- Description
- A pair of very long, brown varnished wood, jumping skis with metal bindings. Skis are thicker at the centre, tapering toward the tail and the tip which curves upward slightly and is carved into a lancet arch with a small protrusion at the point. Bottom of each ski has three tracking grooves, top has faint incised lines following the edges of the ski and forming an arch within the arch of the tip. Metal bindings consist of a large metal plate with toe brackets which secure boot by means of a thick leather strap which buckles over boot. A.L.&W. Mikro Skirite, Toronto , a small metal bracket with four slots for adjusting ski cable in front if large plate. "Kandahar" Made in Switzerland), a small bracket on either side of the middle edge of the ski with two hooks for the cable. Two large round holes joined by a slot which pass through the ski from one side to the other just beneath the large metal plate, have been plugged with wood and mastic of some sort. Note: a series of drilled holes approximately 12 cm. long are in front of the small cable adjusting bracket.

- Hollow, silver heart shaped locket with padlock like shackle on top. Hand engraved heart has gracefully curling scrollwork on each side of the flat, heart shaped area. Edges are engraved with straight line, square pattern going around the heart edges. On each lobe of the heart sits a small 4.0 mm silver ball from which springs an arched loop of silver passing from one to the other. This shackle is fastened securely into one ball where it is hinged to allow the other end to open, much in the smae manner as a padlock. End of shackle which opens has small notched hook to hold it in place when closed.

- A collection of three neck chains. (a) heavy gold, stamped out links .3 cm long are small, hollow, four-sided cylinders joined together end to end form chain; heavy, solid, hexagonal cylinder 1.1 cm long with hole drilled through, attached at one end; other end of clasp broken at second link; spring bar fits into drilled hole. b) gold chain - fine, 1 mm links of gold-filled ? chain joined together with ring bolt clasp at one end and small eye at other. (c) silver chain, machined chain with 1 mm links of silver joined together. Ring bolt clasp at one end with eye fastens through ring bolt, and separates from other end.
