- A serving tray consisting of three round plates set vertically inside of a vertical brass ring. There is a small loop handle for carrying at the top of the ring. The plates are hinged so that the two outside plates fold down to rest on the table at each side of the brass ring, and the middle plate swings to a horizontal position held in place at the middle of the ring by a hinge at either side. Each plate is covered with a geometric pattern of green and red enamel with a red bird at the centre (peacock? or turkey? with tail outspread). The bottom of each plate is marked with “6”.

Lip of tray made by folding up at each side of the angles and rolling the edge. Thin, angular cast metal handles attached to outside at each end with pins. Large, rectangular picture on heavy paper attached to centre of tray depicts 19th century, country inn scene complete with gentlemen sitting by the fire with small dog, while serving woman lays the table. Entire tray front and back coated with lacquer causing a brownish colouration in the crevices and around the edges of the bottom. Picture signed in bottom left corner "Harry Eliott".
