Description
Rectangular writing tray with four corner claw feet. Tray contains two long indented pen rests on either side of centre portion which has two attached cylindrical rings to hold inkwells. These rings on either side of a large central ring which holds a removable, circular handled, single candleholder. Candleholder has bracket on handle which holds a cone shaped snuffer which is attached to stem of candleholder with chain. Base of candle holder scratched "109", "Mkafm"? and "R R " as well as stamped, eight arrow cross hatched hallmark. Candleholder and tray borders elaborate cord design with leaf and scroll accents. Only identification stamp is "A" inside candleholder.

Description
A soft, faded blue leather folder embossed with gold designs on the front. Gold design forms a frame around a more open, curved geometric line design inside, with six gold, winged dragons each inside a square back contains a narrower gold border around an ungilded, embossed inner border frame. Edges are bound with a wide strand of blue leather. Leather folds inside to form a narrow pocket along the side of the inside cover, and forms a wider pocket on the back inside, with a second, smaller double pocket over that. Folder is lined with blue and gold brocaded fabric, with thick interleaves covered with the same and lined with grey marbled paper on the inside. Two large white sheets of rag paper are folded inside and held with a narrow leather strip stretched along the centre fold of the folder.

A table lamp with a ceramic base in creamy white set atop a base of turned ebony. The base is approximately torpedo shape, brass capped, and has a wrought iron hardware casing from which two lamp fixtures extend. Harp above it supports a recovered hexahedral shade of parchment held to the harp with buckskin thong. Top of wrought iron hardware is a pink jade topknot. “Made in Japan” stamped on base.

A tightly fitted black canvas cover over a medium sized rectangular black leather suitcase. Slits cut through cover for handle with flap passing beneath handle. Opening snaps with large metal snaps along both ends and one side where handle is. Suitcase is stiff wooden box covered with deeply grained black leather, reinforced at corners with small leather patches. Heavy handle completely covered with same leather. Two brass snap latches with keyholes in squares beside. Key attached to handle with string, interior completely lined with buff coloured moire, with shallow, 5.5 cm box like tray the full size of the suitcase, resting on two small ledges inside at the top. Tray lifts out with two leather tabs. Single large pocket across the lid fastens at the middle with a leather tab. Suitcase covered with travel stickers from around the world.

Description
A large, semi soft suitcase of natural leather covered with travel stickers and secured with large leather straps. Leather stitched around on heavy metal frame at lip of lid, and narrower metal frame supporting bottom. Top one third of lid is accordian pleated to expand. All corners reinforced with large patches of leather riveted on. Heavy cut out leather handle fastened under brass brackets, with large brass snap latch beneath controlled by round lock button , Orbin. Two heavy belt straps buckle lid to bottom either side of the latch and continue around the lid to buckle over that and secure the expansion. Inside lined with laminated beige fabric and has leather straps in lid and bottom to secure clothes. Stuffed with newspaper, 1956, and two cardboard dress boxes, Holt, Renfrew & Co. Ltd, Eaton's of Canada, to maintain shape of soft bottom while stored. Attached to handle on small leather strap, a name tag from "Rotterdamshe Lloyd Royal Mail Line".
