Topics include day to day life, visits from friends and visitors, world news [often pertaining to politics and the British Royal family], maintenance and upkeep of the house and property [mostly landscaping], cleaning and household chores, weather, gifting a stove to the Simpsons for use at Bow Lake [currently a camp], events and people in Concord, various holidays [both Canadian and American], day trips around the National Park [mostly to Lake Louise, Bow Lake and Moraine Lake], making frames and prepping canvas for painting, books Catharine and Edit are reading, dinner parties, rearranging the kitchen [including getting a new refrigerator and a new table with two bench seats], trips to Bow Lake to paint throughout the summer, hiking, wildlife [often in the yard], updates on the new trail being built from Moraine Lake to Taylor Lake, Banff Indian Days, photography and cameras, print-making, descriptions of meals, the birth of Russ and Kitty's first son in July [Russle Jr. aka Rusty], the annual Sky Line Trail Hikers trip in early August [Pete' s last year as President], trips to Lake O'Hara and Assiniboine to paint and hike throughout August and September [the trip to and from Assiniboine was carried out on horseback], painting/sketching, activities and people at various camps, descriptions of the weather and conditions riding in and out of Assiniboine, developing and colouring photographs, working on a portrait of Mark Poucette, and news of Margaret and Mary Simpson going to Boston to skate.

Curren, painting David Bearspaw, hiking at Lake O'Hara with Skyline Trail Hikers [with participant names], a visit with Mary Vaux in Banff, a Pacific Relations Conference at the Banff Springs Hotel and cleaning the house expecting visits from participants, Catharine discussing Adolf Hitler with a Swiss man visiting the house, a boat trip with the White Family and Allen Mather to Lake Minnewanka, meeting Mr. Anasaki from the Conference [an old friend of Edward Morse] and looking at Catharine's Japanese collection with Mr. Miyoaka and Mr. Takaki, Peter taking photographs at the Indigenous Camp during Banff Indian Days, Peter receiving a beaded coat from Mrs. Jonie, buying some items from the Indigenous Camp that belonged to Old Hector [Crawler?], Jackie heading east to meet Barbara before the birth of their child, and Peter and Catharine heading east via the United States to attend the World Fair and visit Edith Morse Robb and then family in Gorham, Maine.

Lambart; also some by A. H. MacCarthy. All images are housed in the original brown envelopes used by the ACC and contain typed notes on the exteriors. Topics include: Groups of the Mt. Logan expedition taken while on voyage ; From the deck of the Alaska, the abandoned "Gastino Gold" mine ; Operating Alaska Gold, a mine reducing ore at less than a dollar a ton, the values not being much a dollar, output 10,000 to 15,000 tons per day ; Group on boat looking over sea Juneau Warf. H.F.L. & Read. do Hall and Read ; Harry Boyden's dog team entering the streets of McCarthy Alaska, Lt. Col. Foster & A.H. - Scope & Content
- File pertains to photographs - mostly prints, also negatives and one glass slide - of the Mount Logan Expedition of 1925. Photographs of the Mount Logan Expedition were mainly produced by H. F. Lambart; also some by A. H. MacCarthy. All images are housed in the original brown envelopes used by the ACC and contain typed notes on the exteriors. Topics include: Going into our first camp on the bars of the Chitina River being a half days run from "Rush Pound," where we stopped and had lunch on the way in ; Packing up at Brysons, being the old camp ground of the Surveys (Barny Bryson) and from which point a trail leads out of the valley of the Chitina (rising 3000 ft) and leading to the head of the Young Creek. MacCarthy took this trail coming in coming out last summer after the reconnaissance. This is the 4th. camp out from McCarthy the next 16 miles to Short River ; Short river Camp, 5th camp out from McCarthy and only 7 miles out from Hubricks. Mountain in back on other side of Chitina Valley. Crossed Clear Water, Canon and Short river before reaching this camp ; Eastward up the valley of the Chitina Valley Tree islands and the morain covered toe of the Chitina Glacier showing. Hubricks Camp near point shown on left, just showing ; The Chitina Valley below Hubrick's Camp distant horizon being the toe of the Chitina Glacier. Mt. Logan would be, if visible, direct centre looking up Chitina Gl. ; Panorama taken from a point on the Chitina just off the N.W. corner of the Chitina Glacier toe, at an old Trig Sta. which seemed to be part of old base line. Shows the range on the south side of the Chitina Valley and the last straight down the valley of the Chitina ; All a little blurred as focus in error set at 15 yrd. Topics include: Rocky cove, resting for lunch an hour before reaching the "Fraser - Baldwin Cache" ; See description preceeding negative ; "Baldwin Fraser Cache" an old survey base camp of 1913 used in conjunction of the trip up the Baldwin on the attack of the shoulder of St. Elias that year and base camp for operations up the Logan Glacier by Dennis Mussell and others. Much old material strewn about. The last timber. Camp left on the morning of the 22nd, of May ; "B. & F Cache" ; "B & F Cache" ; Party starting out to the clear ice straight out in front May 21 to mark trail and to help matters on the morrow when camp is struck ; Striking Camp May 22 ; Sledding on the Logan glacier from the crossing of the boundary line on the Logan Glacier to Turn Camp at the junction of the Ogilvie and Logan Glaciers. Mt. Logan in centre distance very dim ; Resting on the snow covered surface of the Logan Glacier just below the end of the Ogilvie Glacier, showing the point Turn & the western end of Logan in the far distance ; With the sleds on the Logan Glacier, a rest for lunch near the junction of the Logan and Ogilvie Glacier ; Camp on the morains of the Ogilvie Glacier "Turn Cache" Cache left here 7 days for 8 men.
