- A set of eight small, brightly painted, wooden birds. Each bird is shaped and coloured in a stylized manner to represent different kinds of birds. Metal tails and bills have been added to some. - Japanese basket shop, fully furnished. Base which forms floor of shop is 33.3x21.4x3.0, woven mat floor is an off white colour. Shop walls are bamboo rails and woven bamboo, 18.0x28.0x8.3. The sun shade is supported by 4 vertical bamboo poles. Shopkeeper middle aged man, top of head shaven with rest of hair pulled back into a topknot, "5 o'clock shadow". Dark kimono, woven plaid belt. He is sitting on the floor, yoga position, open hands, extended. Items for sale: 1 big woven chicken coop, 2 medium sized chicken coops, 1 big woven basket with one end open for chaffiing, 1 medium sized flat sparrow coop, 3 smaller flat sparrow coops, several carrying baskets, sieves of various gratings, various wooden dustpans, 1 fish basket, 3 hand brushes, scrub brushes. The shopkeeper was probably a basket weaver as well.

- Large round shallow hand drum of thick rawhide stretched over wooden hoop. Rawhide nailed to bottom of hoop along perimeter with nails approximately 1.5 cm apart. Hide is trimmed at edge of hoop with four long strips of the hide evenly spaced around edge extending toward centre of back of drum and pulled tightly across centre with thick twisted cord. Skin has been sewn together with sinew along one side of hoop frame extending 6 cm into face of drum. Drum skin has been stained red with large grey owl with yellow wings and red features sitting at centre.

- Rattle carved from burled piece of wood. Top burl has been hollowed and filled with small pebbles? and capped with a round flat slice of bone. Burl just beneath has been carved to represent a bison head painted black with claws added as horns and beads inserted as eyes. Top burl has been stained yellow on front with picture of flying eagle, and green on back with drawing of dog's head. Bone at top painted around each nail head with a circle of black outlined in red and a green star at the centre. 'Neck' of buffalo painted with bands of red, black, yellow, green and brown. Three feathers tied in group attached around bottom of handle with a string of sinew.
