- A folding pocket knife with the handle made from the hoof and leg (skin and hair attached) of a very small deer with a metal 'shoe' nailed to the bottom. The leg has been split to accommodate a long blade on one side and a corkscrew on the other. A T-shaped metal crosspiece with a hinged lever locks the blade open and is released by pressing. The base of the blade is marked with “Henry Boker & Co.”, “Improved Cutlery”, and a stamp of deer antlers.

- Bead wrapped wooden sticks with bone and/or horn points (a) wooden circle 7.0 dia. on end, wrapped with green and mauve beads. 2 groups of feathers hang from circle. 3 golden eagle tail and 3 hawk wingfeathers, shaft wrapped with cotton, beads attached. Bands of green, maroon and mauve. Double barbed point 29.3 long is bone (b) 5.5 at base tapers to 2.3 at top. Completely cloth covered, bottom half rows of beads, blue, maroon, yellow. Double barbed point 25.0 long is bone, top has 2 bovine horns, points 16.0 apart, nailed onto shaft. 2 strips of hide ca 3.0 wide over top and around base join (c) forked willow stick, cloth wrapped, beads in bands of blue, yellow,red. 1/5 of beads missing. Short buckskin fringe at bottom of fork and at join of point. Point is 17.0 long antler carved at end for sharper point, gouge each side, fork painted yellow, blue, red. - History / Biographical
- The Banff Zoo operated as a tourist attraction from about 1905 until 1937, when it was shut down due to concerns about animal cruelty. While it was open, the Banff Zoo held monkeys, cougars, a polar bear named "Buddy" [acquired in 1907], two bear cubs from 1915 onwards, and various other wildlife.

- File consists of one album containing 35 black and white postcards and 1 colour postcard. Contents pertain to wildlife in the Rocky Mountains, including moose, bears, big horn sheep, buffalo, cougars, deer and elk, at least some of which were held in the Banff Zoo. File also contains images of Lethbridge [ca. 1909], Col. Cyril Childe [ca. 1920], Mt. Rundle, Niagara Canyon and other untitled views of the Canadian Rockies. One image depicting Lethbridge is dated 1909, stamped and annotated.
