The case is complete with six three-cornered stainless steel curved needles that are graduated in size, four flat needles graduated in size, and eight three-cornered needles curved at the tip in varying sizes. The needles are stuck through a padded band of the velvet lining.

Two semi circular, curved needles ("mattresses seats"), one long, heavy, straight needle ("chairs sofas"), one short needle with three cornered point ("fur, coats, gloves, leather"), and one long, heavy needle with flattened, bent point ("sacks, bags, hampers"). Missing are needles for "carpets and heavy work", and "tents, deck chairs, canvas". Needles pass through elliptical holes in the card and are stitched through two pieces of thin black plastic on back to be held in place, .9 cm hole punched at top of card.
