A stump with long bare branches is in bottom left of picture, some green foliage behind it. A lake in bottom half of picture, hills and trees on far side of the lake form the horizon. A grey sky covers the top two thirds of the picture, a yellow sunset is evident on horizon right. Printed on Goyu paper from eight cherry-wood blocks.

This image though is only of Peter painting, a rough idea of where Catharine would be sitting, and the moose.
