Description
Small man wearing grey buckskins, red and yellow beads, feather headdress, and carved wooden face. Very plain buckskin outfit with fringes at shirt bottom, sides of leggings and across back shoulders. Yellow and red bead necklace, and trimming on clothing and moccasins. Unpainted wooden head has carved features with pursed lips, and extends to form torso under clothing. Six small feathers in band form headdress. Straight brown hair glued to head is cut off at shoulders. Hands are flat cut outs from buckskin, with black feather stitched to left hand. Armature of body seems to be wire.

Peter is taking a nap on three logs that have three squirrels on the top, three birds rest on his body. A grey sky covers the top two thirds of the picture, a yellow sunset is evident on horizon right. Printed on Goyu paper from eight cherry-wood blocks.
