- Enfield 303 rifle with wooden stock and handgrip that braces the barrel along its length. The barrel has been cut off at the end (tool marks). The trigger guard is marked with a maker’s mark. The magazine is attached with a link of metal chain. One side of the rifle, on the attachment that joins the trigger guard, is marked with a crown, “VR,” “ENFIELD 1896 L E L “. The action is marked with “E” and “6448.” The rifle has a leather carrying strap.
