Also included in the film case is a National Film Board Release memo that includes an overview of the Christmas Special's content and a list of shots. The original label on the case reads "Christmas in Canada (Edmonton) NFB, Date 1963."

Footage incudes shots of getting the horses and pack mules ready, the riders on a trail that leads to a lake, people fishing and swimming at the lake, riding to a meadow, and setting up camp. The original label on the case reads "Title Horseback Outing, Location Waterton AB, outfitter Simpson's, Camera B. Engler, Date July 29 - 1960, Footage 200 ft, Time 5 1/2 minutes."
