All are wearing dark trousers, and what appears to be a belted military coats with large buttons. Their pillbox caps sit on the sides of their heads. All stand with perfect posture, but the third miniature figure’s back is to the viewer. Below this drawing reads: CHAPTER 2. To the bottom-right of the rightmost figure are the initials P.W.. In the space further to the right of the drawing is the inscription: TWO BURLY SENIOR CLASSMEN TOWERING OVER A SHIVERING RECRUIT. On either side of the shape there is sets of skis and another strange shape (that looks like a scarf) above the skis to the fair right. On all three pieces there is are crosses make out of a black ink or printed on the paper to suggest boxes that the drawings would fit into.
