The pieces of the portfolio are made of green-grey paper wrapped around a piece of cardstock, sealed on the inside with a decorative page consisting of hand-drawn black and yellow hexagons with simple floral designs inside them. The covers are held together with a length of red cord wound through three holes punched along one edge. There is an additional hole punched in the middle of the open edge.
