In flat, small buckskin pouch: Small, engraved, gold disk with black enamel line decoration. Completely engraved over front and back surface with tiny scrolling and curlicues, design accented with champleve technique using black enamel to form a linear design of six pointed star on front surrounding small blue enamelled flower at centre. Tall knob at top holds large ring, both of which are chased on the surface. Small fingernail flange near top opens locket, hinge at bottom. Each half inside recessed with slight lip around. Portrait of man, photo? tintype? daguerrotype? barely discernible under round glass window fitting into one half. Marks: inside empty half, scratched into metal, “17”

Description
Long, double strand of tiny seed pearls with three moonstones. Pearls approximately 1.0 mm in diameter, moonstones are rounded ovals reflecting bluish tinge, and set in simple, oval, gold fittings with 2 small gold eyes at each end to hold the double strand of pearls. Pearls threaded in lengths of approximately 23 cm between the moonstones, middle length broken. Several loose seed pearls from this necklace, as well as some medium sized pearls, and some larger pearls, not all are genuine, plus a small rod of metal. In small, 7.1x4.0x2.3, wooden Japanese box marked "Edie Morse from Mrs Yatabe" Box lined with a piece of soft paper which folds over contents and has red, stamped, Japanese calligraphy on top.

An ornate, engraved, gold pocket watch with separate winding stem. (a) watch, completely engraved around edge, stem bracket, and fob ring, with scrolled vines. Back textured with spiral crosshatching and plain shield shaped plaque at centre surrounded by engraved flowers and vines, gold framed front crystal opens. Porcelain dial beneath with delicate Roman numerals, a recessed circular second dial at bottom, and hair like wire hands. Back of case also hinged to open, ornately engraved plate beneath, two places for winding and setting hands. Marks: inside back cover, "18, hallmark, 21547", engraved plate, "F. Cooper, London, detached lever, thirteen jewels" . (b) winding stem, long, stemmed key with square hole in end to fit winding knobs, and oval shaped handle at top. Small ball around stem at middle allows key to be turned without twisting fob ring attached. Watch runs but hands cannot be set.

An oval, gold, wrist strap. Flat band has hand engraved and stamped design on front consisting of three leaves joined tip to stem, on each side of the middle. Stippled surface beneath leaves and simple scrollwork at each end. Rest of band smooth,ends overlap and are rounded. Three small keyhole slots at one end of band allow band to be adjoined by means of small button/knob on other. Flat, gold loop slides over ends to hold together. Small knob on outside of keyhole end between second and third slots keeps loop from sliding off. Engraved inside: “Miss PC. from her friend P.G.”
