- A Japanese samurai sword with black cord handle and black scabbard. (a) sword, long curved steel blade connected at hilt with brass to wooden handle covered with white pebbly sharkskin which shows through diamond shapes left open under silk cord which wraps handle. Metal band at base of hilt and metal cap at its end have relief casting of leaves and blossoms, and a bronze casting of blossoms is caught under black cord wrapping handle, oval sword guard has cut out relief of branches and blossoms, with holes on either side large enough to allow dirk to pass through. (b) dirk, long thin blade set into brass handle with cast relief of heron standing in stream with incised bushes around. Japanese calligraphy on other side of handle. (c) scabbard, slightly curved to fit blade. Wood covered with fine grained leather with narrow black band, horn? at mouth and another at top of slit pocket where dirk slides in. Pocket groove on one side near top to accommodate dirk, and semi-circular black piece of carved horn on opposite side, threaded through with flat braided black silk cord to tie scabbard to belt

- A small, delicate gold wristwatch with black cord band. Gold casing frames square dial with high, rounded, thick crystal. Stem at right side pulls to set time, gold numerals in circle inside small dots at edge which mark the minutes, straight gold hands. Finial at top and bottom of case form bracket which holds heavy black cord watchband. Cord is doubled through bracket and held together with small gold clip. Ends are clamped with gold accordion folding clasp which snaps closed and has small lever at one end with small sliding bar for finer adjustment to size. Marks: on dial, "Elgin De Luxe" on back of case, "Elgin, hallmark, 10 K gold filled. On back of clasp, "G.F. Sterling base , hallmark," and patent number.

- Small, gold coloured needle, 1.8 x .1 diam, held by red card, and a second card without a needle. Card is metallic red with silver printing on front, covered with a wrapping envelope of transparent cellophane. Tiny cylindrical needle with candle like flame tip is held in slot cut through card, with hole cut through around the tip with silver rays emanating from it representing a halo of light. Card contains such information as "RCA Victor Fidelitone deluxe Up to 5,000 plays one dollar floating point" and the RCA logo, lightening bolt from the A, and trademark, dog looking into phonograph horn. Printing covering back contains the product blurb, instructions for use, and manufacturer. Cellophane wrapping on (b), the empty one, has been broken where needle was removed.
