At his feet there is a stump with an axe in it, with three more birds watching Peter and beside the stump there is a bear. Peter has comic “z’s” coming up from his body where in a conversation bubble he describes his dream of sitting at a table with Catharine around a meal. Written along the top edge “TO MOTHER ROBB FROM PETER” and along the bottom edge “A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR”

Four of them are holding poles, and there are spots of black near what is the feet of the rabbit. b: ink used to fill in the shapes of the animals in the background, and then two snowshoes and poles can be seen in the middle of the image. c: In the middle there is a strange blob (looks like a hat and jacket) that has been filled in with ink. On either side of the shape there is sets of skis and another strange shape (that looks like a scarf) above the skis to the fair right. On all three pieces there is are crosses make out of a black ink or printed on the paper to suggest boxes that the drawings would fit into.

There is a mountain in the background, a judges platform that is at the top of the hill, and in the foreground there are large steps where a group of animals is sitting and watching the competition (each animal is on their own step). In a small boxed-off rectangle below the larger drawing there is a group of animals sitting on benches in what appears to be an office. Written above the door it says “DEPT OF IDEAS” and hanging on the door a sign that says “OUT OF ORDER.” Near the BRC of the paper there is a sign drawn that says “NO JOBS TODAY”.
