Description: Gold coloured metal thermometer in shape of a door key. Description: Smooth, rounded netsuke carved from medium brown hardwood. Snail emerging from rounded, coiled shell. Cord passage hole created by gap between snail foot and shell. Carved signature within rectangle near base of netsuke. Large crack in netsuke and one of large snail antennae is broken off in a large section and is missing. Crack possibly caused by humidity changes or damage.
