Photograph albums mainly document Alpine Club of Canada camps in the Rocky and Selkirk Mountains between 1906 and 1914. Included are photographs of camp sites, activities, participants, operations and mountaineering in the areas of Selkirk Mountains, Glacier area and Rogers Pass, Yoho Valley, Consolation Valley, Paradise Valley, Sherbrooke Lake, Cathedral Mountain, Vermilion Pass and Mount Robson area. Albums and images are titled and often include detailed identifications. Several albums are broad thematic compilations of scenic and camp views. Some albums include views of Banff clubhouse and other facilities. Accompanied by "Index to Canadian Souvenirs" (AC 0M / 8-9). These notebooks index the Canadian Souvenirs albums (AC 55P / 9-11). May 8 Battleford engagement with Poundmaker and Big Bear and discussion of the wounded from the Fish Creek fight. May 10 passed site of Fish Creek Battle and was shot in shoulder. May 12 discussion of Battle of Batoche. May 15 Riel taken prisoner and discussion of “half breeds.” June 3 short description of Battle of Loon Lake. Returned home July 20 and continues with office work, correspondence and financial matters.
