- File consists of 14 colour and b&w oversized promotional posters and information boards for Banff Indian Days celebrations, promoted by Canadian Pacific. Posters largely feature identified and unidentified Indigenous people, notably Chief Spotted Eagle and Blind Eagle. Art medium includes oil paint process mounted on cardboard made in Canada and distributed by Exhibits Branch Canadian Pacific, lithographic prints, and a mounted drawing attributed to Palenske. Some have annotations or stamps on the back.

D3-10, a lithographic promotional material from 1936 has an identical design to LUX / II / F1 / 47, an Indian Days poster from 1928 Items LUX / I / D3 / 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 were originally associated with LUX / I / D3a / 6, which contains brochures and a flyer from Banff Indian Days LUX / I / D3 / 8, Palenske may have potentionally used photograph LUX / I / D3a / PA-26 as reference

Also includes one notecard.

Topics include day to day life, Banff events, visitis from friends, photography, painting, weather, events and people in Concord, radio programs, installing electrical outlets in the living room, trips to Bow Lake, Banff Indian Days [including having David and Peggy (Rider) Bearspaw stay the night with Peter and Catharine during a bad storm], the Jasper Park Lodge burning down [July 15], the funeral for John Murray Gibbon, camping/sketching trips to Yoho National Park, several visits by Rockwell and Betty Kent, and leaving for a road trip to Concord for Christmas [Peter and Catharine left in late October and drove to Massachusetts]. Also includes an airmail card.

Many typed letters have hand-written notes and post scripts added throughout. Some letters are marked with a small x in pencil, indicating where Jon Whyte made notes for use in his project "Catharine Robb Whyte, Peter Whyte: Commemorative Portfolio," originally published in 1981. 131 - 07 [dated July 24, 1952] describes making a sound recording with Jacob Twoyoungmen and family. See S37 / 73 for actual recording 131 - 08 appears to have been cut 3/4 up the page prior to accession.
